Helens Last Day.

As mentioned earlier, Helen has been offered and accepted a new job as parish assistant for St Georges Church in Tillydrone. This job of Parish Assistent, is very similar to what Ellon has been doing for us here at Northfield Church. This is good news for Helen, as she will be to take on more additional responsibilities and new challenges. All ready she is making plans for setting up a Breakfast club in her new role!

However, this means that Helen will no longer be working with us. Sunday the 29June, marks the last time that she will be assisting at Northfield Church. Of course, this is also means that she wont be available to take the Breakfast and Sunday clubs, already the children of the Sunday Club are missing her.

So, in true Northfield Parish Church fashion, a presentation was giving to Helen during the Sunday Worship Service. Helen was present with a angel ornament and a large applause from the Church Congregation. Back in the Sunday Club, the children presented Helen with further gifts and leaving cards.

After the service, a large chocolate cake was also eaten in Helen’s honour.

As you can imagine, Helen is very excited about her new role as Parish Assistent, and is looking forward to starting work at St George's, but at the same time she will be missing the kids her at Northfield Church, but Helen has promised to pop back to see us from time to time.

So all that is left is for us to wish Helen all the best, and good luck in the new job and thanks her for all he effort she has put in, here at Northfield Church.
